California Chili is the dried ripe pepper pod of Capsicum annuum, L. of Anaheim variety. Burgundy in color. Slightly sweet aroma with a sweet, very mild flavor. It has a shiny, smooth surface, 6-8 inches long 2 inches wide that taper to a point. Shelf life is six months.
